Dark Coal is more than just a clothing brand. We believe in using fashion as a powerful tool to make a difference in the world. 

We understand that in India and other countries, there are many people who are struggling to make basic ends meet and cannot afford to buy new clothes. This is especially true for children and young people, who are often forced to wear old and worn-out clothes. This not only affects their self-esteem and confidence but also their education and future opportunities.

There is a saying that Roti (bread), Kapda (clothes), and Makan (shelter) are the basic essentials. Out of these essential needs, we have chosen to focus on New Kapda/ New clothes. We understand that clothes may not be the most pressing need in today's world, but they are an important aspect of one's self-esteem and self-worth. Clothes are not just a cover for our body, they are an extension of our personality and identity.

We believe that every person especially kids, regardless of their background, should have access to new, clean clothes. This is why we have made it our mission to develop a habit of donating new clothes to underprivileged kids.
